Once you’ve created a record, you can easily go back and change the information you’ve provided in the various fields. Next to each record type there is a pencil icon. Clicking this icon will open the edit record screen.
We will once again use an A record type for this example.
You will see the top of the dialogue box display “Edit Record,” and your previously submitted data will be present. Make any changes you need to, and then click the Save Changes button when you are done.
It is important to note that not every field can be edited in this way. For example, the Hostsection cannot be changed once the record is created. For fields that cannot be changed, you will not see a dialogue box item.
