The Health Status Report page displays the summarized view of DNS Health Check results for each domain in your account (or that you have access to), as well as additionally providing an Account Security check.
Any user that has the Read level permission for the Domains Permission type can view and generate the DNS Health Check Status/Report.
Similar to the DNS Health Check layout, the Health Status Report will display the validation results from the Health Check across the top of the screen. Additionally, each domain that you have access to will be listed on the page with a condensed view of the validations. The domains displayed are sorted by default based upon a Best to Worst order, which utilize the following scoring criteria.
-
Total number of Error validations for the domain.
-
Total number of Warning validations for the domain.
-
Total number of Best Practice validations for the domain.
Above the list of domains, you can click on the Account Security section to see any validations or warnings that pertain to your account (instead of your domains). The Account Security validations monitor the following account level items:
-
Is Two Factor Authentication (2FA) enabled on the account?
-
Is Single Sign-On (SSO) enabled on the account?
-
Do your users have SSO enabled and configured?
-
Are you using DNSSEC for your domains?
For Domains that have already had a DNS Health Check run and completed, the View icon will appear, which will navigate you to the specific domain’s DNS Health Check results. Click the Back button to leave the domain’s results, and return to the Health Status Report page. For those domains that have not run the DNS Health Check, a “No Current Report” message will appear.
Clicking the Run Report button generates a new DNS Health Check for the selected domain. There are no restrictions on the number of domains that you can click the Run Report button for at a time (i.e. a report does not need to be completed before you run one for another zone).
Filtering and Sorting
The Filter by Type menu allows you to filter the results based upon validation type for the domains on the page. Please note though, that only the validation you are filtering for will appear in the results being displayed, the rest of the validation types will not appear.
Additionally, you can use the Search bar to search for a specific domain name, or account name to further narrow your results.
Note - Newly created or deleted domains will appear (or will be removed) on the Health Status Report list within one minute or less of their creation or deletion.
