Change Comment
The Change Comment field allows a user to provide an explanation or a comment for an action being carried out for a specific zone function. This could include the creation of a new domain, the signing or un-signing of a zone, the deletion a domain, and various other zone functions available on the UltraDNS Managed Services Portal. The change comment field supports the use of free text, with a maximum character limit of 512 characters.
Whenever a Change Comment is provided for a zone function, the Audit Log entry for the event will display the Change Comment, allowing users to view the explanation for the event. Additionally, any Audit Log entry that contains a Change Comment will be denoted by an icon on the right most portion of the screen, providing an easy way to identify those entries containing Change Comments. To view the Change Comment for an Audit Log entry, expand the entry by clicking the green arrow next to the Change Time field.
