Prior to your SAML certificate expiring, you'll provide the following to UltraDNS Support by opening a ticket in the Support Portal (login to UltraDNS, click the Support Portal button at top).
- The updated cert
- The current metadata XML file
- The date/time you want the cert updated

If a call is required during the time of change, we'll need 2 different dates/times
- We cannot guarantee same-day SAML updates so please schedule in advance a minimum of 3 business days but ideally 5.
- Ensure an admin of your IDP is on the call in the event of any changes to be made in your IDP environment
Additional Information
Insight to Step 3: While our IDT team is available between 10a-7p EST, calls scheduled are to be between 10:30a-6:30p EST as they last on average no more than 30 min.
Insight to Step 4: Confirm, document a successful login(s) on the day of the update prior to making updates so there's a baseline in the event a roll back is required.
