6 Most Common Issues & Fixes
If you're trying to upload a certificate in the Certificate Management section and something isn’t working, this guide will help.
| Problem | Fix |
|---|---|
| “Invalid certificate or key” | Make sure the cert and key match exactly |
| “Unsupported file format” | Use .crt, .key, and .pem only |
| “Expired or invalid cert” | Check cert dates and issuer |
| “Token Format” message | Usually a non-blocking UI error — refresh and try again |
| "The file could not be uploaded due to an invalid format" message | We do not support encrypted private key files. |
| The private .key file you provided contains "BEGIN ENCRYPTED PRIVATE KEY," which indicates it is encrypted. | To avoid encryption, please modify the command you shared by adding the -nodes option. The private key file should contain either "BEGIN PRIVATE KEY" or "BEGIN RSA PRIVATE KEY." |
