The following describes how to add zone transfer access control to a domain.
This allows a secondary name server pull an AXFR transfer from UltraDNS Primary.
To configure at account level see the following: Configure Zone Transfer Settings for Account.
- Log into UltraDNS
- Click Domains
- Click <domain> that you are adding zone transfer access control to
- Click the Properties tab
- Click the ADD+ in the Zone Transfer Access Control section

Add any IP addresses you wish to allow under Restrict IPs
- Uncheck Inherit Account Settings
- Click Add+
- Select the Range Type (either IP Address Start/End, CIDR or Single IP Address)
- Enter the values for the IP address or range (under IP Range Start, IP Range End or CIDR or IP Address--whatever is on your screen here is determined by what you selected in previous substep)
- Enter any Comments or leave blank (optional field that has no impact on functionality)
- Click Save

Optional Step: Add any IP addresses you wish for us to send notifies to under Notify Addresses
- Uncheck Inherit Account Settings
- Click Add+
- Enter IP address under IP Address:
- Enter Description or leave blank (optional field that has no impact on functionality)

Optional Step: Under TSIG Key, enter your TSIG key if you wish to use TSIG authentication on zone transfers between our primary and your secondary (requires additional configuration your secondary name server)
- Uncheck Inherit Account Setttings
- Select the Algorithm you wish to use
- Click Autogenerate Key (or manually enter your own Name and Secret)
- Click Save Key
