Creating standalone subdomain/subzone

Below are instructions on how to create subdomains with root domain in same account and delegate accordingly.

1. Log into UltraDNS
2. Click Domains
3. Click the root domain
4. Scroll down to NS (Nameservers)
5. Click on ADD+
   1. Enter the sub domain in Zone Delegation
   2. Enter the nameserver information in Name Server
   3. Enter the TTL value
   4. If there are more than one nameserver for the zone delegation, click on Save and add another and repeat steps 6 to 9 as needed
   5. Click on Save
6. Click on Domains
7. Click on ADD+
8. Enter the sub domain name in Domain
9. Click on Primary Domain in the Select Domain Type section
10. Click on Don't Import in the Record Import section
11. Click on Submit
12. Click on the newly created domain
13. Enter the records for the newly created domain

Additional Information

Any records relating to the subdomain/subzone (except CNAME referring to the subdomain) will automatically transfer from the parent domain.
