KSK Rollover

  1. Login to UltraDNS
  2. Click Domains
  3. Select the [domain] to perform the KSK Rollover
  4. Click DNSSEC
  5. Press the ROLLOVER button
  6. UltraDNS generates a new key and provides DS records to customer
  7. Provide the updated DS records to the registrar
    1. Have them replace the current DS records with the new DS records
    2. There is NO DOWNTIME when they replace the records because we have signed the zone via both keys
  8. Once those are added and propagated globally, UltraDNS will automatically detect the changes and remove the old keys from the system
  9. No further action is required
