We do not use SHA1 algorithm to sign any zones.
Our zones are signed with either ECDSA Curve P-256 with SHA-256 (algorithm 13) (on-the-fly signer) or RSA/SHA-256 (algorithm 8) (static signer).
DS Example
Keytag / Algorithm / Digest Type / Digest 21031 13 1 FA4C5D16A408907B83614721A93A237EA70F313A 21031 13 2 E839B1F29D53B95B08ED4845DA30655EE2A3A7A43AAED800A7495EC0B5B0B255
We generate two DS records for signed zones, one with SHA1 (1) digest type and another with SHA256 (2) digest type.
The SHA1 is provided for compatibility for older servers. However, it is not required, and no reasonably modern system should require it. As a result you can list the SHA256 exclusively at your registrar. If you already have both DS records at the registrar, you can remove the SHA1 DS record. No changes are required to your zone on our system.
