How to delete name server records

This article explains how to delete name server records in UltraDNS and highlights important requirements to be aware of before making changes.

What You Should Do Next

1. Log in to UltraDNS.
2. Click Domains.
3. Select the domain you want to edit.
4. Scroll to the Name Server section.
5. Select the checkboxes next to the records you want to delete.
6. Click the Delete Selected button.
7. Confirm the deletion in the popup.

Important Notes

• Before deleting any records, export the zone to create a backup.
• You must have at least two name servers configured at all times.
• If the Name Server section is not visible, ensure the NS checkbox on the left is enabled.
