We are required to answer any query for a domain for which our name servers are authoritative.
If the record that is being queried doesn't exist, then we will answer with an NXDOMAIN response.
If the NXDOMAIN response shows for any internal records like wpad, ldap, etc. those can be excluded from your contracted query amount.
