The following describes how to move from UltraDNS to another provider
- Make sure the zone and all records exist on the new DNS provider
- Login to UltraDNS

Lower the TTL on the NS and any other records that are changing destinations
- You can safely change the TTL to 30-60

If the zone is signed on us (DNSSEC), then you'll get the DS records from your new provider after you add it to the new DNS provider

Take those DS record to your registrar to ADD them
- Do NOT remove UltraDNS DS records yet
- Wait 48 hours

Take those DS record to your registrar to ADD them

Change authoritative name servers to the new provider's name servers at the registrar
- Wait 48 hours
- Delete the zone off UltraDNS
- E-mail cancel@digicert.com to cancel account

Insight into Steps 3 to 5: We don't recommend deleting your domains from our user interface until at least two days (48 hours) have passed because of recursive caching as queries might continue to go to us for a couple of days after you update your authoritative DNS to the new provider
