UltraDNS now includes HTTPS certificate usage in reporting and billing. This allows you to track how many managed certificates are associated with your account and how they contribute to service usage.
What Are Managed Certificates
Managed Certificates represent HTTPS certificates provisioned and maintained within the UltraDNS ecosystem. These certificates are used to support secure services and are now included in usage reporting.
Where to View Certificate Usage
You can view certificate usage in the UltraDNS Portal:
- Navigate to Query Analytics
- Select Usage Summary
- Locate Managed Certificates in the chart legend and usage table
What the Data Means
The Managed Certificates value reflects the number of certificates currently in use. This value may change over time as certificates are issued, renewed, or removed.
How This Affects Billing
Certificate usage is now part of your overall service metrics and may impact billing depending on your package and usage levels. Higher certificate counts may result in increased usage charges.
What to Do If Values Look Incorrect
If you believe the reported certificate usage is incorrect, verify:
- Recent certificate provisioning or removal activity
- Any pending changes that may not yet be reflected in reporting
If the issue persists, contact support with details about the affected domain and certificates.
