JWT Token Management Enhancement

We’ve improved the way UltraDNS handles JWT tokens to give you greater control and flexibility:

  • Refresh Tokens on Demand: Now, you can proactively refresh tokens before they expire, making it easier to maintain secure sessions without disruptions. This feature helps ensure continuous operation for applications that need persistent connections.
  • Granular Access Control: For those moments when you need to quickly invalidate a token, this enhancement allows admins to revoke access instantly, helping prevent unauthorized access without downtime.

Why This Matters: These updates make it easier to manage secure access for long-running processes or distributed teams. It’s all about keeping your UltraDNS interactions safe and smooth.

Terraform Provider Update: Reliability Meets Expanded Record Support

Our Terraform provider now packs more punch with enhanced error handling and broader record support:

  • Better Error Handling: We’ve fine-tuned error differentiation to distinguish between transient (e.g., network hiccups) and permanent issues. This means fewer interruptions and less risk of accidental deletions due to temporary errors.
  • New DNS Record Support: With added support for AAAA Pools, HTTPS, and SVCB records, Terraform users can now manage even more DNS configurations, adapting to the latest in DNS protocol standards.

Account-Level 2FA Enforcement

  • Centralized 2FA Control: Admins can now require 2FA for all users, adding an organization-wide security layer without needing individual user setup. This API-accessible feature makes it easier to keep everyone’s access secure.
