Re-imaging Permissions and Exceptions

Would it be possible to change the way permissions and exceptions are applied? 

The slider function is not very admin friendly when you have a lot zones. I have to go to each zone and move a slider for each group that automatically added and select a permission.I believe checkboxes and multi-selection actions buttons would be better. It would also be better if permissions and exceptions were in the same area.

For me the ideal situation would be, when a zone is created it only receives the “global” admin group with full permissions or the global admin and the delegate group if a delegated group created it. Then if additional permission/exceptions are needed, go to one page where you can add more groups and assign permissions.
